Apply now: Technical Production Manager
APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED
Fee: from £2,250 dependent on experience
This exciting new role seeks a talented individual to plan, schedule and deliver all technical production aspects of the mjf core Festival Square venue; including sound, lighting, AV, stage management and front of house; ensuring an efficient, cost-effective, high-quality standard of delivery.
Approaching its 22 year, Manchester Jazz Festival is a 10 day annual event in the heart of the city centre. With 100 events, working across 12 venues, mjf 2017 looks to be our most ambitious yet! In the heart of Festival Square is our new core venue, a Speigeltent, an intimate space (capacity c.260) a rare gem for artists and audiences alike. This role would be primarily based within this extraordinary space, delivering to a 3 event turnaround per day.
We envisage that the successful candidate would be available to regularly attend meetings and work with the team here at our Manchester City Centre office. Should you be based outside of the North West, please consider your ability to be present at our hub.
Deadline for applications: 9am, Monday 24 April 2017
- Shortlisted applicants notified: Wednesday 26 April
- Interviews: Friday 28 April (Skype possible)
Please confirm in your application that you will be available for the interview date and when you would be able to start. Please also indicate where you saw this post advertised.
