mjf2024 is taking place from Friday 17 May – Sunday 26 May with events across First Street, St Ann’s Church, Band on the Wall, Matt & Phreds, The Carlton Club and Forsyth Music Shop, RNCM, Stoller Hall and The Carlton Club. 

mjf volunteers play a crucial and valued role during the festival, often as first point of contact for artists and audiences.

What mjf offers volunteers  

If you do volunteer for mjf2024, mjf will:  

Tickets  

We can offer a pair of free tickets to an event of your choosing, subject to availability, 24 hours before the gig. Want to see what’s on? Have a look at our line-up: https://manchesterjazz.com/events/  

Hours 

Hours may vary dependent on the role but are generally in line with programme timings. 

If successful, you’ll be given a volunteer handbook and invited to attend a volunteer briefing session in the week leading up to the festival prior to your first shift (exact date TBC).
